Reviews
This review is not for the food we did not eat food but the food looks awesome. We went during happy hour which is great. They have amazing prices during happy hour hour like the most expensive thing is six dollars and we enjoyed the spritz which was also very good. This is more about the service which was a little bizarre. We also sat outside in the beautiful outdoor so recommend doing that if it’s warm. The server was a bit strange. She asked for a ID and sat down which makes sense. We were fine with that but then when we tried to order another we were about 75% done with our current drink she said we had to completely finish the one drink before ordering the second, which obviously drink, happy hour is not ideal especially if it’s getting late. She also dropped a glass of wine and just seemed really frazzled and all over the place and took forever to come back like they didn’t have enough help so Otherwise I would definitely come back to this place and I’d love to try their food.
I’d like to provide that I did try the pizza and it is delicious and for the price during happy hour it is a steel
They have an amazing happy hour deal! The pizza was phenomenal and the spritz was very good as well. Docking one point because either the host or manager, not sure what position she holds, was extremely unfriendly. If you don’t like people, you shouldn’t work in hospitality.
Came here for happy hour, and it’s a steal. $6 Margherita pizzas? $5 spritz’s? Absolutely unheard of in NYC. Was pleasantly surprised with how good everything tasted too. Drinks were great, pizza was so delicious, and we even got garlic knots and meatballs which were also so good. The olive oil cake was also excellent. Best happy hour I’ve ever been to!
The best happy hour in town! Pizza for $6 (extra couple of dollars for burrata), olives for $5 and cocktails for $5. Everything was so delicious, we were full and happy! It’s getting crowded fast so I highly recommend coming as early as possible.
This is a steal for happy hour drinks and food since wine and basic pizzas are $6, rosemary aperol spritz for $5, and beer for $4!! Gets busy during happy hour (4-6) so make a reservation unless you’re there right at opening. The service is good but we did have to order our pizzas twice when they didn’t go in the first time. Otherwise, a stellar spot for the village.
This place my best friend found this on social media, and since we are always in that area, we needed to check it out. And we are so glad that we did! The place's interior design is gorgeous and appealing, adding to the lovely atmosphere. The food was everything, it was just the two of us, and we shared a Margherita pizza along with the items in pictures. Everything we had was flavorful and well presented, from the aroma to the taste. Sorry, no picture of the pizza. We devoured it 😬.
We loved it so much we are becoming again with family.
Went to Roey's to meet with friends for a birthday celebration (friends were able to book the bar section) and had a great time. The restaurant has a great vibe with a bunch of tables packed closely together (typical for West Village). The service was great and the menu offers a good selection of italian options that we greatly enjoyed - we had their Spinach and Mushroom pizza along with the Margherita Pizza and liked both a lot! Definitely worth a visit!
Really good pizza and decent pasta! I’d give them a 5/5 for the pizza for how fresh the ingredients are, the chewy yet thin crust, and sauce to bread ratio! Other dishes are also great, but the pizza is my favourite.
Their happy hour is an absolute steal, a rare find in the city. The menu may not be extensive, but gets the job done! Get the pizza, meat balls (chef’s kiss) and aperol spritz :) definitely make a reservation in advance!
